Community Church Bishop’s Stortford is part of a growing family of churches from different countries called Relational Mission (RM). RM is part of Newfrontiers - a group of apostolic leaders - who, together with their teams and churches, are united by core values, genuine relationships and a heart for global mission.
Newfrontiers represents a worldwide network of more than 850 churches in 60 nations. You'll find Relational Mission churches predominantly in the UK, mainland Europe and Canada.
Relational Mission is all about family, but not simply in the cosy sense of enjoying great relationships. It's also about reproducing itself, about passing on its DNA, seeing spiritual fathers and mothers raise spiritual sons and daughters. Informally, we think of this as multiplying apostolic spheres in the nations by raising up spiritual sons and daughters. Parenting is at the heart of family, and spiritual parenting is at the heart of Relational Mission.
We are also accountable as a leadership team to the leadership within Relational Mission, this helps us not to be an isolated church but be firmly rooted as part of a God honouring structure. Peter Vincent, our lead elder, is also part of the RM team and overseas the Essex RM churches with a small team. Find out more about Relational Mission at relationalmission.com
In June 2016 church and workplace leaders from RM churches local and international gathered at the King's Centre, Norwich (UK) for RMLC16, a 4 day conference with guest speakers from around the globe.
