Nicholas Lines - Youth Leader

Nic joined the staff team in 2009 after serving as a Police Officer for six years in Hertfordshire. He is married to Amy who also serves within the Youth, and they have recently had their first child. He is passionate about his wife & son, Tottenham Hotspur FC, playing any kind of sport but most importantly Jesus. His dream is to see teenagers changed by the good news of Jesus Christ and is keen to show this world what they are missing if they don't have a relationship with God! He leads the youth work with a team of excellent volunteers without whom his job wouldn't be possible.

Malini Colville - Children & Social Action

Malini & her husband Iain (an elder in the church) have three children and this makes for an extremely busy life. Malini has had many years working with children in schools as a teacher and leading childrens teams. She leads and oversees the children’s ministry team which runs groups on a Sunday and during the week. Malini also works on our social action projects and is looking at how we develop these into the future. She is passionate about family life, building relationships and teams and loves colourful clothing!

Claire Pearce - Children’s Worker

Claire has been in the church since her teens and after a year on FP (a year long serving and training course) she joined us as a part-time children’s worker. Claire is married to Daniel who is part of our worship team. Claire loves to express her creative side within the children’s work and you will often find her producing artwork for the latest teaching series for the children. Claire loves to visit university friends and has a real heart for including children of all abilities in the life of the church.

Steven Hunter - Church Administrator

Steven moved down from the North East in 1987. He has worked in hotels and financial services industries and as a consultant helping companies improve management processes. He joined the staff team in 2000 and holds responsibilities for planning, communication, the church office and building and oversees the financial team. Steven is quite the film buff and will happily tell you whether your taste in films is any good! He is married to Helen and they have two daughters and an old but lively cat called Monty.

Maureen Hopkins - Admin Team

Maureen works in the Admin Team every Tues-Friday. She has particular responsibilities for Charis Centre bookings and assists our lead elder Peter Vincent.

Marian Yates - Admin Team

Marian works in the Admin Team every Friday. She makes sure that we have everything ready for our the weekend events.

Linda Turnbull - Admin Team

Linda works in the Admin Team every Monday. She updates our website and gets involved with many tasks which need to be followed up after our Sunday services.

Peter Ellis - Caretaker

Peter works in the Admin Team as our Caretaker. He makes sure that the Charis Centre is clean and setup for all the events and bookings that take place.
