We believe in a church of all generations and Crowning Years is our group for senior citizens.

Thursday Coffee Morning

We hold a weekly coffee morning on Thursdays 10-12pm for coffee, tea, cakes and a chat and prayer. Thursday is always a busy market day in Bishop's Stortford so why not come along, you will always receive a warm welcome when you drop in at the Charis Centre.

Crowning Years Community Group

We also have a daytime community group which meets at 10am every Tuesday. Join us for a time of reflection, sharing and prayer.

Lunches, Events and Day Trips

Each month we try to have a special lunch, event or day trip to somewhere special such as:

• Sing-a-long shows at the Rhodes Centre or Harlow Playhouse
• Days out at the seaside or on a boat on the river
• Trips to the cinema
• Christmas shopping trips
• Summer Tea Parties
