Community Church began in 1983 with a small group of people in homes in Bishop's Stortford. Today, the church is a community of people of different ages, nationalities and backgrounds from Bishop's Stortford and the surrounding towns and villages.

The church is here because we have discovered that God is real and can be met today.
We exist to help people find the God who wants us to live life to the full and who brings real purpose to life on this earth. We’re mainstream in Christian values and beliefs but very much 21st century in relevance and style.
